John goes beyond the technology scope to coordinate with team members to elevate and enhance any project.
Immersed in Culture
Olá…Bonjour…Hola…Hello! Learning about cultures and languages while exploring new places is how John and his family connect and make memories. John, who is Portuguese, and his wife, who is French enjoy sharing their cultures with each other and their son. A favorite destination is the Mediterranean (Portugal, Spain, and France) where they take time for simple joys—breathtaking scenery, delicious local food, and time with each other—in the warm summer months.
Going Green at Home
When John purchased a mid-century home recently, his to-do list quadrupled. Projects around the house are all about trial and error, he says: “Sometimes you get it right the first time, and sometimes you do it wrong but learn how to make it right.” He and his wife’s current challenge is making a 60-year-old home green and energy efficient by implementing green products and technology, while staying within the mid-century design style.
From Pop to Progressive
Working in an open office has its distractions. Headphones and good music are one way to stay focused, and that’s how John accomplishes this . When it comes to genre, he doesn’t discriminate. John enjoys anything from American pop to East European neo-progressive rock.
