As a design engineer for TEECOM’s telecom TEEm, Kevin has managed several healthcare, commercial/corporate, and higher education projects over the years. Since joining the TEEm, Kevin’s skill set has grown immensely and he has grown into leadership roles. Kevin says TEECOM’s diverse culture makes it fun to come to work every day and his favorite aspect is the eagerness of colleagues to help each other.
When it comes to traveling, Kevin’s ideal vacation is a tropical, adventure-filled getaway. Some of his favorite locations include Thailand and Costa Rica, where he has enjoyed copious hours of snorkeling, hiking, and whitewater rafting. Experiencing the food and culture of a new place is another thrill. He and his wife-to-be plan to honeymoon in Bali and the Maldives, where he hopes to find some spare time to earn his scuba certification.
Hit the Slopes
Kevin has been hitting the slopes, snowboard in hand and adrenaline rushing, for 15 years. Once a season-pass holder who worked on his tricks every weekend, Kevin’s preferences have changed over the years. Now that hardcore boarding leaves his body aching, he takes it easy with occasional social weekend trips to the cabin for a few blood-pumping black diamond runs.
Swim, Bike, Run, Repeat
Swim your heart out for 1.5 km, pedal a bike for 40 km, and then throw on your sneakers to run 10 km. This is what Kevin does for fun! Twice a year he competes in Bay Area triathlons. He always starts out strong with the swim, his favorite segment, and forces himself to push through the last leg to run to the finish line. No walk in the park, for sure, but Kevin can’t resist the rush.
