Around the office, Sunil is known as the numbers guy. He studied Business Management at San Diego State University, but narrowed his focus on the TEEm’s financials, including accounts receivable and payable, billing, project numbers, payroll, and the list goes on! Sunil says the TEEm environment, valuable services TEECOM offers, and its innovative role in the industry encourages him to learn and improve each day.
Off the Grid
Whether Sunil is staying local at Mission Peaks or traveling to Tahoe or Point Reyes, he cannot wait to get off the Wi-Fi map and completely disconnect from technology. Leaving his mobile devices at home allows Sunil to unwind and be at peace. Experiencing nature without alarms, text messages, or social media notifications buzzing through his phone helps Sunil to simply be present and truly appreciate the friends he hikes and camps with.
‘Bula’ means ‘hello’ in Fijan, the language of Fiji, his favorite vacation destination and his ancestors’ home. Every year he falls back in love with the tropical island lifestyle and its seafood, lamb, and curry dishes. Australia, New Zealand, England, and France are among other countries he has visited. Traveling allows Sunil to explore another world and burst out of the bubble he lives in for months at a time.
Sunil claims he cannot cook, so he is always on the hunt for new restaurants and cuisines. Mediterranean and Indian dishes are his hands down favorites. He likes trying ethnic foods as a way to experience a new culture without traveling. The Mediterranean restaurant Kokkari and the Indian restaurants Amber and Dosa (Fillmore) are among Sunil’s San Francisco favorites.
