Travels and Living Abroad
Tim grew up in the US, Canada, and Europe, with many opportunities to cross boundaries to explore numerous countries and cultures. He sought out new adventures and friends on travels throughout North America, Europe, North Africa, and Scandinavia and lived and studied in Europe. He maintains his love for exploration and adventure and continues to travel locally and abroad.
Tim an appreciation for art, history, architecture, and he values the intrinsic beauty of hand-crafted, everyday objects. Tim appreciates the simplicity of handmade everyday items which have a personal and human expression that is not found in manufactured products. Being creative, he enjoys making everyday items including pottery.
Tim enjoys outdoor rock climbing, and he also climbs trees. Tree canopies are mostly uncharted spaces which are quiet and beautiful. Climbing is a fun escape into nature and at the same time provides a larger perspective. He innovates some of his own climbing equipment and securing systems such as a slingshot that accurately sets a line up to 60 feet high that allows for multi-pitch climbing of very large trees and traversing from one tree to another 150 ft above the ground.
