After 18 years In the audiovisual industry, Wil insists that the past 6 as an AV Designer at TEECOM have been, by far, the best of his career. Starting off in computer aided drafting (CAD) and production allowed Wil to express his creative side by drawing, sketching, and doodling on a regular basis. Since the beginning of his career, he has enjoyed designing. Wil also enjoys sharing his knowledge on AV best practices with peers and clients to recommend the ideal design and technologies for their space.
49ers for Life
Since Wil was a teenager, he has been crazy about his local San Francisco 49ers football team. Each year, football season can’t seem to come quick enough. Although he was once a season ticket holder, and is looking forward to a live game at the new 49ers stadium, he now mostly enjoys spending Sundays watching football games in his souped-up home theater, where “tailgating” has become a fun family affair, no matter how intense and loud Wil gets.
Throughout the ‘90s, Wil zipped around on his motorcycle, until he met his wife-to-be. To pay for their wedding photos, he sold his bike. If that is not true love, what is? But now, 20 years later, Wil is back getting his thrills cruising on the open road. Whether out on the road or at a construction site, you’ll notice him with a distinct marking on his protective head gear: the infamous TEECOM insignia!
Everything Wil does is for his family. He strives to ensure that his wife and three kids are able to pursue their dreams and hobbies. Now that his children are busy in high school and college, Wil and his wife enjoy spending their weekends with their godson, who is a high-functioning, special needs child. They consider him part of the family and work on his physical therapy every week.
