Intuit Marine Way TEECOM

Project OverviewIntuit Marine Way TEECOM

The Intuit Marine Way building encompasses the design and development of a new four-story, 180,000 sf office building with an associated one-level subterranean parking lot and an above-ground parking structure. The new building will neighbor the existing Intuit facilities at its Mountain View location to become part of the overall corporate campus master plan. The Marine Way Building will be an open office layout housing the Product Development team of Intuit.

Intuit Marine Way TEECOMTEECOM Contribution

TEECOM is leading the integrated technology design for telecommunications, security, network, wireless, audiovisual, and acoustics systems. As part of our telecommunication design, TEECOM is coordinating and designing a new MPOE and MDF for the entire Intuit Mountain View Campus that will be housed in the new Marine Way Building. Our audiovisual design includes infrastructure and systems for modern collaboration spaces, a large Atrium/Lobby, product development studios, and advanced technology conference and video conference rooms.

Behind the Walls

TEECOM’s audiovisual team is designing innovative systems for the building’s product testing room, known as the “Intuit Studio”. This space will function as an observatory room for Intuit staff to observe beta testers using their latest software. Camera placement throughout the studio will capture all angles, making it easier for observers to watch multiple testers at a time. The studio will also have multiple projectors that rotate 360 degrees.

In addition, our design team is designing a presentation system for the building’s atrium. The design includes a projection screen approximately 13-feet tall by 23-feet wide. The atrium is an open space that gets a lot of natural light. Instead of using an exotic and bulky high-brightness projector, a lower cost, dual-projector system was chosen to provide vivid images with enough brightness to cut through ambient light.
