Oakland International Airport Taxiway B Overpass
TEECOM was hired by the Port of Oakland to design a security system for the Oakland International Airport Taxiway B Overpass, which consists of two parallel bridges for aircraft and service vehicles, respectively. The bridge for aircraft required two staggered infrared detector beams to detect all movement, activate the CCTV monitor, and trigger the alarm system. In addition, a PTZ camera was positioned to show movement detected by infrared beams. The bridge for vehicles included UL-325 compliant sliding gates to control traffic, card readers, lighting, and cameras, which were all integrated into the existing security system.
TEECOM designed a security system for the Oakland International Airport Taxiway B Overpass, which consists of two parallel bridges for aircraft and service vehicles CCTV, ACAMS, and telecommunications systems engineering, including PTZ cameras, infrared detectors, lighting for night operation, sliding gates, access control, alarm monitoring, and intercom systems for two parallel bridges utilized by aircraft and vehicles. Our team determined the security design required to meet Airport FAR to protect movement of aircraft and vehicles between taxiways.
