SFJAZZ Center

San Francisco, CA

OverviewSFJAZZ Center TEECOM

After 28-years in its San Francisco Embarcadero location, SFJAZZ decided to move its offices to a new home in San Francisco’s performing arts district, Hayes Valley. Mark Cavagnero Associates, the lead architect for the project, designed a 35,000 sf center that includes a 700-seat auditorium, an 80-seat multi-purpose ensemble room, 3 rehearsal spaces, a digital learning lab, and a pavement-level restaurant/cafe that features live jazz performances. The new SFJAZZ Center supports advanced technology for performance recording and digital-age broadcasts for global audiences.

SFJAZZ Center TEECOMTEECOM’s Contribution

TEECOM worked with Mark Cavagnero Associates to provide SFJAZZ with integrated technology systems throughout the building. This work included integrating the telecommunications and network systems onto one common network, resulting in cost savings for the client and ubiquitous connectivity throughout the facility.

Benefit to the Client

As both a theater and a concert hall, the new SFJAZZ Center is very unique. Our design team assisted the project owner in defining network systems and criteria, coordinating network vendor and purchasing of products, and choosing products for both wireless and VoIP systems.
