FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Leading integrated technology consulting firm TEECOM has seen recent growth and expansion of its UK-based operations covering Europe, Middle East, and Africa, in the year that also marks the 20th anniversary of the company. Headquartered in Oakland, California, USA, TEECOM delivers strategic technology visioning, design and engineering, and project management for the most innovative projects in the world, with a client base that includes Salesforce, Airbnb, Adobe, and Symantec.
In the twelve months since TEECOM operations commenced in Europe, the regional team has already delivered over 170,000 square feet of corporate workspace across multiple projects in Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
Since September 2016, the team has commissioned multiple projects and environments including more than:
- 3,000 data outlets
- 1,200 workstations
- 3 large data and server rooms
- 3 large multipurpose flexible presentation spaces
- 2 leading-edge client business centres
- 100 conference rooms, each applying the latest designs of audiovisual collaboration spaces and systems
In the past twelve months, TEECOM has also grown to 87 employees worldwide, with appointments in the UK including Magnus Kemp as Senior Design Engineer, Andrew Bridges as Project Manager, and Emilio Koutsoftides as Designer. As part of the ongoing growth and recruitment drive, more technology professionals will be joining the team in the coming months.
Designed in California, delivered in Europe
TEECOM is renowned for its major key clients in Silicon Valley and across the globe. In twenty years of operation since 1997, the company has successfully completed over 2,000 projects in the US, UK, China, India, France, Israel, Japan, and Australia.
The European operation was launched with a core goal of creating a localised base covering Europe, Middle East, and Africa, from which projects in the region could be delivered. “We have a very active and quickly expanding business across key European cities,” Blair Parkin, TEECOM Principal, explains. “TEECOM is building workplaces for the future, working closely alongside international architectural practices for the complete delivery of design, engineering, project management, and commissioning services. It was vital we had a local presence and immediate availability for all time zones, providing our territory with a dedicated, nearby resource.”
At the forefront of new thinking, new approaches, and new technologies
The TEECOM European team specialises in transformative projects, emerging technologies, and integrated collaborative workspaces for a range of industries including research, corporate, and public venues where a unique relationship between user experience and technology is required.
“TEECOM’s expansion this year has allowed us to bring a Silicon Valley design innovation mindset to the EMEA market,” says TEECOM’s CEO and President David Marks, PE, RCDD, CDT, LEED AP. “As a leader in museums and cultural institutions, Blair’s expertise in designing immersive spaces complements and broadens TEECOM’s overall practice.”
“We’re working with some incredible clients on truly incredible projects – pushing technology forward with some of the world’s largest corporations,” adds Blair Parkin. “With further growth planned in the coming months, I’m very excited by what the future holds for our clients and our company.”
