TEECOM first sparked Eli’s interest after they discovered us on an iOS podcast called Core Intuition. The rest is history. Eli is now a Software Developer and creates iOS apps, such as Lobby Transit, designed to improve the user experience in buildings. When they build an app, Eli likes to focus on the design aspect to create an ideal user experience. They want it to be easy and fun to use and look attractive and inviting.
Eli is a Nintendo and board game nut. They are such a fanboy that they even sport a Zelda triforce tattoo on their wrist. They live for hosting board game nights, and their guests can expect a night full of strategy board games like Settlers of Catan and Carcassonne. Playing games in adulthood reminds Eli of being a kid, and, let’s be honest, we all need a little childhood comfort from time to time!
Eli can usually be found at a concert supporting local musicians or performing at an open mic. They play acoustic guitar and piano, sing, and write their own music. They started piano lessons when they were 4 years old, and at 15 picked up an acoustic guitar and taught themself how to play. While Eli may consider their own personal style as alternative or indie, they love rap and hip-hop as well.
Eli is a city rider. They sport a road bike, a Raleigh Super Course from the 70s, and a fixie, the Retrospec Saint Urban Bike, around town. The thrill of speed and fighting through traffic on the main streets is a scary yet exhilarating thrill ride that makes Eli feel more connected to the city they are biking in.
