Driven by the ever-changing climate around marketing and the fact that the times and technology are evolving so quickly, Jasmine focuses on finding the best way to reach and connect with people. How do we communicate our brand at TEECOM through technology? How do we stay up to date? “I want to make TEECOM memorable in every experience we have with a client, employees, in the community,” she says.
Break a Leg!
Dance is Jasmine’s first passion. She studied various styles of dance for 16 years including tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, and musical theater. Her mom signed her up for a karate class, and when the teacher said “shake,” meaning his hand, she shook her shoulders. That’s when her mom knew dance would probably be a better option! Even though she no longer dances competitively she makes a point to break out a dance move or two whenever given the chance. Disco party, anyone?
Lust for Wanderlust
Jasmine has been all throughout Europe (including Iceland), and a little bit of South America. She digs into the culture of the places she visits and embraces them as her own. One of her favorite experiences was studying abroad in Denmark, where she fell in love with the lifestyle. Jasmine enjoys hygge, the Danish term used to describe surrounding yourself with a cozy, warm environment, good people, and life’s little pleasures (like candles!). Her second favorite experience was traveling throughout Costa Rica exploring the cloud forest and playing soccer with school children where people embraced the pura vida or “pure life.” One day, she hopes to visit her birthplace, Japan, with her dad and hike Mt. Fuji.
The Art of Cuisine
Growing up, Jasmine loved watching the Food Network with her mom. Now, she enjoys venturing out to find the best cuisines, but also creating those experiences at home. The kitchen has become one of Jasmine’s favorite places. She has made it a hobby to try new Pinterest recipes and adapt them as her own. Some of her favorite dishes to whip up are zoodles bolognese, chicken enchiladas, and broccoli cheddar soup.
