Kimm started her career as a records manager for a law firm. Over time, she gained more responsibility for benefits and administration and developed into an HR professional. She relates to people, so naturally, people gravitated toward her. When Kimm’s granddaughter asked her what she did, Kimm explained human resources this way: “I help people.” At TEECOM, Kimm fosters an environment of trust with a smart, diverse workforce.
Take Me Out to the Ball Game
Kimm has been an Oakland Athletics fan for as long as she can remember. She remembers her mom allowing her to stay home from school to watch the World Series in the 70s because her brother was allowed to. She appreciates the strategy of the game. Kimm likes to take her kids to the Coliseum, buy a hot dog, and sing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” with the rest of the fans.
Born with a Radio
As a young child, Kimm loved all genres of music. She remembers the dates of events in her life based on the year that songs came out. The happy and infectious energy she experiences at live events makes it worth her while to travel to these events, such as her annual trip to New Orleans for Jazzfest. Kimm wishes to visit famous venues. One day, she hopes to see her favorite band, Train, on their cruise.
Home is Where the Heart is
Kimm’s granddaughters are her pride and joy. She takes any opportunity to visit them in Colorado. Kimm loves showing them new experiences because she gets to be a child again with them. Kimm can only visit them every few months, so she relies on FaceTime to see her “peanuts” between trips.
