Taking TEECOM to SoCal
Based in our Los Angeles office, Rooz is a technology strategist, engineer and project manager at heart. He enjoys helping clients envision a role for technology within their organization and brings a holistic approach to consulting, staying connected to the big picture while simultaneously focusing on the details. Rooz is also a member of several industry organizations and enjoys speaking at conferences and events discussing technology’s impact on the built environment.
At the age of 20, while still in college at the University of California, Riverside, Rooz saw an opportunity to make his first real estate investment. He sold his first car, raised some capital, and bought his first house. A few years later he had acquired four properties but unfortunately found himself in the middle of a housing crisis with real estate prices dropping fast. Given the circumstances, he had to find ways to exit those investments and cut his losses. Over the years, Rooz has learned a great deal about real estate investing and development, and he is excited to apply his knowledge as he once again gears up to invest in the Los Angeles region.
The Road Less Travelled
In the course of his travels around the World, Rooz has found that sometimes making bad decisions can lead to great stories. He likes to deviate from popular tourist attractions and instead explore how the locals live, taking the initiative to connect with people and learn about their culture and values. His favorite destination is the remote island of Lombok, Indonesia, where he was able to ride a motorcycle through the countryside with his wife, surrounded by beaches and waterfalls.
On Two Wheels
Rooz gravitated to motorcycles in his early childhood. Over the years, he has ridden different street bikes and most recently transitioned to the dirt, riding a Honda CR125. These days Rooz enjoys riding in the deserts north of Los Angeles to experience the pure bliss and freedom of riding dirt bikes through the mountains. When he’s on a motorcycle, everything else seems to fade away, and his full attention is focused on riding to the best of his ability.
