East Meets West
Shana was born and raised in Bayside, Queens and also lived in Manhattan for 15 years. With so many things to see, activities to do, and restaurants to visit, she is always fueled by the energy, diversity, and liveliness of NYC. After moving to the Bay Area five years ago, she is often asked which coast she prefers – but it’s a tie! While New York is often bustling, she loves the gorgeous views, farmers’ markets, wineries, outdoor activities, and the peaceful nature that the Bay has to offer.
Cooking = Calmness
One of Shana’s favorite things to do is get lost in cooking – not many things can distract her from a chaotic day, but the kitchen is her happy place. Shana can easily cook for two to three hours and not realize how much time has passed. No recipe scares her! As part of her kitchen prep, Shana loves going to the farmers’ market and picking up fresh produce, local eggs, and any other interesting ingredients to try. Though, she finds strawberries and heirloom tomatoes to be the most heavenly and addicting!
