Aruba Customer Experience Center
Santa Clara, CA
Overview
How does a famously inventive Silicon Valley firm like Aruba Networks showcase their most cutting-edge products? They create a Customer Experience Center where visitors are immersed in ultra-fast Wi-Fi, mobile unified communications (UC) and Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity. Because the 1,100 sf CEC showcases next-generation technology to potential clients and collaborators, Aruba needed everything to work flawlessly, from wireless connectivity to location-based personalization to content control.

TEECOM’s Solutions
As Wi-Fi and audiovisual systems designer for the CEC, TEECOM worked closely with Aruba to achieve a design that, rather than overwhelming the visitor with technology, immerses them in the Aruba experience intuitively. The center of the CEC is dedicated to areas that resemble Aruba’s key verticals, including the digital workplace, retail, manufacturing & IoT, and hospitality. The periphery of the space features conference rooms of varying sizes, an espresso bar, a “mini-stadium” with tiered seating, and an R&D garage.

Benefit to the Client
Audiovisual systems for the CEC were driven by two imperatives: the ability to easily project content and a “one ring to rule them all” single control interface. TEECOM’s design brings together disparate elements so that they function as one system. Wireless screencasting is seamless, regardless of device. An iPad displays the overall floor plan of the CEC and allows users to select an exhibit and control the audio and video being routed to that space. The immersion is absolute, and the interface intuitive.
