Defined by its innovative architecture as well as functionality, this campus serves as an unparalleled working environment for innovation and collaboration. The new corporate campus boasts 550,000 sf, including two office buildings and a standalone parking garage. With sustainability and efficiency top of the client’s mind, HOK and the design team listened closely to Symantec’s vision to create an environmentally friendly campus that received LEED Gold Certification in 2008.

Behind the Walls
TEECOM’s engineering responsibilities included all station and data center cabling design an implementation management. We also provided a dedicated IT PM to manage the implementation of 500+ data center cabinets in 22 different labs, patching and network implementation and extensive MEP coordination for power and cooling.

TEECOM’s Contribution
TEECOM designed the campus information technology systems, which included two data centers—64,000 sf and 26,000 sf. Professional services provided included incoming telecommunication utility services, infrastructure, cabling, and a grounding system, as well as wireless systems infrastructure cabling.
