This 1.2 million sf project of critically needed facilities is being designed and built in three phases between 2016 and 2020. The design and construction budget is $1.3 billion and includes 13 buildings and supporting infrastructure. This will roughly double the physical capacity of the campus and will provide a way for UC Merced to address existing academic and student life needs and enable enrollment growth. The new classrooms, labs, housing, and amenities will also enable academic distinction, and expand access to UC Merced.
