Data Overload and Insufficient Analytics in Physical Security

We give back to our community in a variety of ways each year, but after five years running, one event has become a clear favorite for a dedicated group of participants: Bike to Hope, which occurred on October 18. It's a great chance to raise money for City of Hope’s cancer treatment and research while enjoying a beautiful bike ride and re-connecting with our colleagues across Northern California's AEC industry.
TEECOM partnered with Forge this year. The team fielded 14 riders and is proud to have raised $10,000. We're thrilled that City of Hope raised $277,000 overall, surpassing their goal of $250,000. Ben Shemuel, Principal, Vice President, and AV Discipline Leader (below), captains the TEECOM team each year and always brings the enthusiasm. This year, his wife, Jamie Keller, joined him on a tandem bicycle!
The ride begins and ends at Penngrove Park in Petaluma. Cyclists participate in either a metric (66 miles) or half-metric (31.8 miles) ride. Members of the TEECOMexperience team were on hand to cheer riders as they crossed the finish line.
Whether they've ridden a metric or a half, riders finish hungry, and Bike to Hope never disappoints with their spread of food and drink. In addition to enjoying the carbs, congratulations, and camaraderie, participants heard speeches from some of the people whose lives City of Hope has touched, a humbling reminder of how great a cause we are supporting.
Visit TEECOMexperience on Instagram for more great photos and video interviews. We look forward to riding again next year!
