Challenge
UC Kresge prides itself on how its campus winds through the natural landscape. On the technology design side, this required our team to be flexible in how best to route the cabling to each building.
Solutions
To overcome this challenge, our team identified the areas of highest impact and pinpointed the best location to support out-of-distance rooms. By identifying these areas during design and strategically reducing the number of required data outlets per room, our team was able to provide substantial cost savings to the overall project.
Through creative designs, cross-team collaboration, and the hard work of our talented staff, we helped rejuvenate this beautiful campus. We are proud that our work will help connect the students and faculty members and provide a safe learning environment.

About
Nestled in a redwood forest in Northern California, The University of California's unique Kresge College campus required a refresh. As the campus expanded, the need for updated infrastructure arose, and our team was the perfect fit to provide updated technology systems. The project included four new buildings, totaling 125,000 sf, needing ICT cabling, WiFi connectivity, and security systems.
