Please join Kenneth Webb Jr., TEECOM’s Principal and VP of Operations, as he discusses one of the primary tools used by TEECOM, the Opinion of Probable Construction Cost (OPCC) document. The OPCC document is utilized to identify the technology budget needed to support the shared technology vision of a given project, articulated by the owner and design team.
Programming Phase
During the programming phase of design, preliminary pricing is a crucial data point to solidify, in order to ensure that the project’s technology budget is in place before the other phases of the project begin. This includes all technology disciplines such as telecom, security, audiovisual, cabling, wireless, voice, network, and acoustics. This tool ultimately serves as a critical reference point throughout the duration of a project, to ensure the project’s budget is on track.
