About
Built in the early 1960s, Terminal 1’s technology has become outdated and unable to effectively accommodate passengers. SFO demolished Terminal 1 and rebuilt a state-of-the-art terminal totalling over 600,000 sf. The new terminal includes spaces for passenger check-in, TSA security, recompose area, baggage handling and claim, as well as a new mezzanine with connection to the AirTrain and Central Garage.
