Zeiss Innovation Center
Challenge
As their new flagship facility for the US, the Zeiss Innovation Center needed a space that could be used as a lab and an area to entertain and showcase technology to stakeholders. This space had to be flexible and have configurations that could change on the fly for various services.
Solutions
TEECOM utilized two strategies to make this happen. First, our team made sure to survey Zeiss’s existing space to see how it was being utilized. Any inefficient uses of space were noted so that when it came to the new space, every inch could be maximized. In order to give Zeiss a flexible configuration for its lab/showcase area, our team designed the power and data cabling in a grid pattern on the ceiling. This allows Zeiss to change the purpose of the space as needed, whether innovating the newest technology or inspiring the next generation.
