Creating Magical Experiences

Visitors expect interactive experiences that seamlessly blend the physical and virtual worlds, transporting them under the ocean, to outer space, or centuries back in time. Achieving these experiences at manageable costs requires the early engagement of an imaginative technology consultant.

Extensive Experience

TEECOM has provided technology strategy, design and engineering, and project management for some of the world’s most innovative cultural buildings. Immersive audiovisual (AV) experiences, fine-tuned acoustics, and location-based services, along with the necessary telecom, network, and Wi-Fi infrastructure all underpin these world-class experiences. TEECOM works closely with architects, content providers, exhibit designers, and venue owners to envision and engineer solutions that enrich learning and research while building in flexibility for future technologies.

Advance Planning for Immersive AV

Advance planning is critical to immersive AV systems due to their high cost and complexity. They typically define the budget for the entire project. TEECOM works with clients who have ideas about the experience they want to create to identify the best systems to achieve that experience. We provide insight from the standpoints of pricing, budget forecasting, design, operations, and user experience. With bespoke media content, it is critical to engage with the content creator and to consider the operational requirements. Some systems can be highly complex to operate while others must be quite simple. Advance planning puts these projects on the path to success.

Sustainability is Part of the Show

TEECOM has also helped deliver some of the most sustainable cultural buildings in the world, from the Net-zero-energy Sustainability Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, to the LEED Double Platinum California Academy of Science. While technology systems are not the big energy users where the greatest reductions can occur, they do provide the means to educate the public about sustainability in the most engaging ways.
